Due to unexpected technical difficulties during the May 8th Interview with Cynthia Hutchinson, Program Director for Healing Touch Program, we want to bring her back to continue the discussion we started about the benefits of  meditation practice and specifically the benefits of Healing Touch Meditations. 

We will be sending all registrants the transcription of the May 8th interview so we do not have to repeat what has already been covered. We will recap some of the discussion and accept questions from those attending the interview. 

Cynthia will be offering a short meditation and then we will go on to discuss the part of the interview that we did not have time for because of the technical disruptions. We will be covering the business aspects of how to create your own meditation recordings and what Cynthia’s experience was creating the two unique CD sets that are currently available.  She will also tell us her experience developing her personal website and how it has evolved to become an important business tool.

Here (below) is the original description of the Interview – much of this will be found in the transcription that will be sent out prior to the call. We received many e-mails saying that the interview was great despite the multiple technical glitches – that’s a huge confirmation that this revisit to the topic with Cynthia is one not to be missed.

Cynthia admits that Healing Touch is her passion and her calling. She loves sharing the “work” with clients, new students, advancing students, practitioners and instructors. As Program Director of Healing Touch Program she oversees the consistency and modernization of the Program’s standardized curriculum while she also monitors the adherence of HTP’s Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics. Her commitment to overseeing and maintaining professional standards is unwavering and you can’t help but witness it whenever you are in her presence or in communication with her. As she says, “I am truly blessed to be doing the work and I love what I do.” 

Actually, Cynthia makes it seem easy because she lives by the professional standards that she teaches, so everything she does, she measures to those standards. As a result there’s a lot to learn whenever there’s a chance to be in her classes or even just sharing some hangout time. This interview is sure to be no different.

In 2009, Cynthia produced two CDs - Healing Touch Meditations I and II. These Meditations are extensions of what is taught in the Healing Touch Program and are used by many for self-care & self-healing but they are also tools to deepen ones practice and support professional development both in personal growth and in business practice. 

Cynthia describes Meditation I “as a soothing journey of self exploration into one’s own healing and personal growth” while also providing a guided review of both grounding, centering and attuning in one track and the Self Chakra Connection in the other. HT Meditations II offers three meditations that are taught in levels 2, 3 and 4 of the Healing Touch Program’s standardized curriculum. Both of these CDs are also great to use to teach loved ones and clients self-healing and self-care practice.

Just a few months ago, November 2011, Sounds True released a two CD set of lecture material and Healing Touch Meditations guided by Cynthia. This set goes beyond her first CDs in that it includes the explanation of what is Healing Touch; how it can be used and descriptions of Healing Touch concepts as well as Cynthia’s personal sharing of her understanding of how we as spiritual beings go through a vibrational step-down process to come into human form. This audio set has been praised by many of the leaders in energy healing like Dorothea Hover-Kramer, Cyndi Dale and Jean Watson.

In our interview with Cynthia we will learn why Cynthia feels professional development is a lifetime learning endeavor and why she feels it is imperative. We will also ask her to share how she prepared for and created these two fabulous CD Meditation sets and what her intentions were in creating them. We may even get her to guide us in a short “live” meditation to start off the interview.
